During the third quarter of 2024, the business app sector on Android in Central America witnessed diverse performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, here is a breakdown of how the top five business apps fared in terms of downloads and active users.

Zoom Workplace experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at around $10.3K in mid-July. Weekly downloads saw a notable rise in early September, reaching approximately 120K, while active users steadily increased from 651K at the start of July to 778K by the end of September.

Microsoft Teams maintained a consistent growth in downloads, with numbers climbing from 66K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 133K in late August. The app also saw a steady increase in active users, starting the quarter with 1.05M and reaching over 1.35M by the end of September.

Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator began the quarter with a strong download figure of 71K, peaking at 106K in late July, before experiencing a decline to 41K by the end of September. Active users also increased from 103K in early July to a high of 213K in mid-September, slightly declining towards the quarter's end.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash saw a steady download rate, starting at 56K and peaking at 80K in mid-August. Active users showed a similar trend, beginning with 372K and reaching 419K by late September, indicating a stable user base throughout the quarter.

Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a strong start with 76K downloads, but saw a significant decline to 29K in September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around 620K throughout the quarter.
